The paints in this kit contain no harmful substances. They contain 84.7% calcium carbonate (chalk) and 8.5% cornstarch. The paint also contains 4.2% EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) which is a binder for the paints and is regularly used when making baby bottles and non-toxic pigments. The pigment is carbon black.
